Opening Peek-A-Boo's Pet Sitting in the Fall of 2005 was a dream come true for me. I have had dogs and cats as pets all my life, and have always loved all types of animals. I named my business Peek-A-Boo's after our family pet, who died in April, 2005.
Since opening, we have taken care of hundreds of dogs and cats, birds, hamsters, rabbits, guinea pigs, lizards, iguanas, hissing cockroaches, ferrets and fish. We have made visits for hundreds of human customers.
I truly love knowing that our customers trust us to take great care of their pets while they are gone. I currently have a rescue cat named Harper. I also have 3 "grand dogs" (Sadie, Bane and Oakley) who stay with me about 50% of the time. My goal is to provide a professional, caring, in-your-home pet sitting service where your and your pet's satisfaction is my guarantee.

Teresa Ashley - Lead Sitter
Teresa has been employed with Peek-A-Boo's since October, 2010. Teresa always goes above and beyond the call of duty, even taking a customer's dog to the vet to be euthanized when the owner could not be back in town in time to take him. She is very caring, dependable and trustworthy.
Peek-A-Boo's couldn't make it without her! Teresa schedules all pet sitting visits for our customers.
Katie Nichols
Katie began working part time for Peek-A-Boo's in August, 2022. She does a wonderful job for us! We never have to worry about the care of your pets when Katie makes your visit! She is very dependable and kind. Katie began her full time job at Friendly Tire in Wilkesboro at the beginning of 2025. She continues to make visits in the evenings and on week-ends.
